Our theme for 2026 is Real Faith Works. I want to thank Myles Grimm for his design work on the theme and bulletins this year. After our February 1 worship service, our pastoral team and I will celebrate the highlights of 2025–and present some of the exciting plans for 2026. Today we celebrate the sanctity of every human life. The Bible says that you are important. Every human life is sacred because each one is created in the image of God. I’m praying for your safety during this weekend’s storm. Forecasters expect Winter Storm Fern’s impact to be historic. Widespread, long-lasting power outages are highly likely beginning Saturday night. Pastor Webb's farewell service and reception will be next Sunday evening, February 1. Vision Sunday will be at 11:15 AM that day.
Student Pastor Candidate
Matt Sands and his wife Krisa were in town with us last week. They are praying about whether the Lord would lead them here.
Matt has served in pastoral roles for 12 years, with ministry including internships, work with teenagers, and Christian school teaching.
Ordained to Gospel ministry in 2019, Matt also volunteers in local public schools, where many students he’s connected with have come to faith in Christ.

Biblical Counseling Series
This spring, we’re kicking off new Wednesday evening mini-series! Ben Plumb will lead us through an overview of Biblical Counseling starting this Wednesday evening. Pastor Stuhl will provide a series in March and Pastor Jones will provide a series in April. Learn more at morningside.org/news.
Missions Conference
