I We’re so thankful for Pastor Webb’s ministry for nearly 30 years over our youth group. He is preaching this morning, and on the evening of January 25 we’ll have a special farewell service and reception for him and his family. Teens, I hope you can attend Pastor Webb’s final teen activity this Friday, January 16.

I am excited to announce that Matt & Krisa Sands will be in town with us this coming Wednesday through Sunday. Matt is a candidate for student pastor, and they are praying about whether the Lord would lead them here.

Student Pastor Candidate

Matt Sands has served in pastoral roles for 12 years, with ministry including internships, work with teenagers, and Christian school teaching.

Ordained to Gospel ministry in 2019, Matt also volunteers in local public schools, where many students he’s connected with have come to faith in Christ.

Matt will preach at youth group this Wednesday. He will meet our deacons during their January 18 afternoon meeting at 3:00 PM.

We’ll also have several times for all parents who have teens in the youth group (or will soon) to meet Matt and Krisa:

  • Friday PM Parent Drop-in with the Sands (8-9 PM, Teen Room)

  • Saturday AM Parent Drop-in with the Sands (11AM-12 PM, Teen Room)

  • Sunday AM Parent Drop-in with the Sands (9-9:45 AM, Teen Room)
