This Sunday is promotion Sunday. We are excited for our kids and teens to join new groups. Dr. Dave Smith will be preaching for us this morning. After the service our small groups will meet.
This evening, we will hear a mission update from Brad Howe and he will preach. On Wednesday evening, we will hear an updated about the Seniors mission trip to the Anchorage Camp. Pastor Ontoy is preaching next Sunday morning. Wonder Junction VBS starts next Sunday 6:00 PM and life groups are canceled. Paul Fields will preach at our evening gathering (5:00 PM, Chapel). This year’s VBS missions offering goes to Living Hope Church in Reno.
Men’s Ministry
Softball will begin on Saturday, June 7. Games will be at Fairview Fields on HWY 290 in Greer. Game times will be at 5:00, 6:15, and 7:30. Contact Alan Morgan if you’re interested.
Men's Bible Studies begin Tuesday, June 3 at Panera Bread on Haywood Road:
Pastor Stuhl will lead a group focused on discipleship and accountability (7-8 AM)
Pastor Huffman will lead a group based on discipleship and outreach (12-1 PM)
Military Appreciation Banquet
Morningside is hosting a military appreciation lunch on July 12 (11:30 AM, Chapel). Suggested donation is $7/person but is free for all military members, veterans, spouses, and dependents. To register or find out more information, contact Gayle Wilkin (afmomusa@yahoo.com).
