Today we celebrate combined Communion. Our Spanish and Chinese ministries combine with our English & ASL worship service as we celebrate our unity in Christ.

Our Starting Point membership interest class follows the service (Room 231). Small groups for all ages and groups speaking Spanish, Chinese, and ASL will also meet.

Tonight is Family Hymn Favorites with Pastors Ontoy and Jones. We’ll provide the modern and classic hymns—you provide your family favorites. Wednesday’s prayer challenge is from Pastor Stuhl.

Next Sunday we anticipate more guests than usual as colleges begin classes. Overflow parking is available at Pelham Road Elementary School, and overflow auditorium seating is available in Room 107. Pastor Crockett is preaching, and our Spanish and Chinese services will resume. Next Sunday night our life groups meet, and all are welcome at our PM Gathering (5 PM, Chapel, Pastor Jones).

Combined Communion: Loving Each Other

Morningside meets every Lord’s day for corporate worship, but we are usually divided by our language barriers. From time to time we have held services with two of those language groups, but for the first time in many years we meet this Lord’s day in all three languages. We’ll even learn a bit of American Sign Language together too.
