Courage to See

When the 1st Joshua came, God made the sun stand still.

Now with the 2nd Joshua, the Son of God stands still.

And remember what is Jesus doing? He’s headed to Jerusalem to die in a matter of days.

The fate of the world hangs on His shoulders.

He’s on a mission He hasn’t wavered from His whole life.

But when a blind beggar calls out—Jesus stands still.

The crowd told the beggar to be still. Now the Lord stands still for the beggar.

Aren’t you thankful Jesus is never too busy for you? Aren’t you thankful the cry of a poor beggar (like you or me), causes the God of the universe to stop in His tracks?
