Cross-Centered Living in 2020

As we begin not just a new sermon series, not just a new year, but a new decade, we want to focus on making the main thing the main thing in 2020.

As we come to the final section of Mark, we’re going to see this theme of the cross. Jesus sets His face like a flint toward Jerusalem, knowing He’ll be crucified on a cross.

The long shadow of a cross stretches out across the rest of Mark’s gospel. It’s coming. It’s inevitable. It’s in the forefront of Christ’s mind. It’s the Father’s plan.

See Christ’s death on the cross was not an accident or afterthought. It wasn’t Plan B. It was God’s plan predicted throughout the OT.
