Sunday, July 2 is our 5th annual ice cream social (5 PM, Chapel).
In the summer of 2019 we were looking for a good way to celebrate Independence Day in three different languages. We decided to enjoy ice cream together and have prayer for our nation from our English, Spanish, and Chinese leaders. We met in the South Wing—before it became the Kids Wing! And our pastors served up ice cream for everyone.
Since 2019, some of our socials have been outdoors. Last year we were in our gym. This year, we’ll enjoy being in our Chapel. We’ll have some patriotic music and spend some time praying for our nation. And of course, we’ll enjoy some delicious ice cream together again.
