This past Sunday night, about 500 Morningsiders gathered to give thanks through song, God’s Word and fellowship. One of our missionaries, Dan Cadavos, who recently lost his wife, shared an update and message from God’s Word. He talked about his recent struggles of losing his wife and yet the blessings of how God is using these circumstances for good and God’s glory to bring others to Himself.
Following the service, members and attendees enjoyed a smorgasbord of delicious pies and wonderful fellowship. Kids’ activities added some fun to the fellowship. Thanks to so many who brought in homemade and store bought pies! Thanks to others as well, who spent time planning, setting up, serving and cleaning up afterward!
