Virtual Scavenger Hunt
Updated January 14
Join our Virtual Scavenger Hunt the week of February 15-22!
Sign up your team now. Teams should consist of 3 ladies. Get your friends together now and make plans to join us for a week of fun! Or just send in your info and we will create your team for you.
Sign up on the form below or by emailing Womensministries@morningside.org.
Send in your team name and a list of the team members by Wednesday, February 10. Please include an email address for each member of your team.
Teams of 3 will compete to accomplish a list of challenges throughout the week. Each challenge has a point value. The harder the task, the higher the point value. Proof of each challenge is submitted virtually through a photo.
For example, one challenge might be: A picture of a 2010 penny = 500 pts.
These wouldn’t count as 2010 pennies, of course…
Only one picture per team needs to be submitted. You would want to collaborate with your team members to see who can fulfill each request.
You’ll get a list of challenges on Day 1 and additional emails throughout the week, adding new challenges and eliminating others.
The "Hunt" will last an entire week so that there is plenty of time to complete as many tasks as possible.
WILL THERE BE PRIZES?
Yes! There are prizes!! The first place team members will each receive a gift card. Prizes may also be awarded to the second and third place teams. This depends on how many teams we have enter the Hunt.
WHAT SHOULD YOU DO??
Now that you know what it’s all about, grab a couple of friends and sign up!! If you don't want to create your own team, just send in your name and we will match you up.
PS: If we have less than 15 people sign up - we will make it an individual event instead of a team event.

But I've Got Problems
Mrs. Corretta Grass teaches from I Samuel 4-7 on the subject, "But I've Got Problems!".
Women's Fall Outing
We had a great time at our Women’s Fall Outing. There were about 43 in attendance. God gave us a beautiful, crisp fall day. We enjoyed a sweet time of fellowship, catching up with each other after many months apart. We also had fun playing games. The highlight was hearing Karie Crockett share God’s Word with us and later surprising her for her birthday. We are so thankful to God for blessing Morningside with such a sweet and wonderful Pastor’s wife.
-Kathy Burget
Karie Crockett shares a devotion at the Women’s Fall Outing, October 17, 2020.
We celebrated Karie’s birthday with her!
The air was crisp and the sun was shining.
Elain Goslar and Jennifer Davisson helped lead singing.
Amy Streeter and Heidi Williams competing at the Women’s Fall Outing (October 17, 2020).
Women's Fall Outing
Women are all invited October 17th for a fall outing at Conestee Park.
We will meet at the large shelter next to the playground. In order to follow COVID protocol, please bring your own picnic lunch. We are planning games and other activities, and children are welcome!
Karie Crockett will bring a devotional while we’re there. This park includes a nice walking trail and other places of interest, so take your time. There’s also a drive-by bridal shower at church the same morning, so drop off your gift first and then come over!
