Greeting the Saints

As we finally gather in-person again, I want to talk about greeting the saints.

 In vv. 10-13, we see this a thank-you letter from Paul to the Philippians.

But in vv. 21-23, we see Paul’s actually more grateful for their friendship, than for their gift. So it’s no wonder this letter is full of joy & thanksgiving.

This is what many of us feel right now to be able to start greeting the saints again—even with awkward social distancing.

 But remember though this church had a great relationship with Paul, they were struggling in their relationships with each other.
