Mexican Consulate

From Monday, June 28- Friday, July 2nd, our church (Iglesia Bautista Nuevo Amanecer / Morningside Baptist Church) had the privilege to host the Mexican Consulate in our facilities. There were 450 appointments assigned to the community, as well as many who were fortunate enough to obtain a standby appointment. Due to the overwhelming need in the community, attendees came from as far away as Myrtle Beach, Charleston, and Charlotte. Unfortunately, the response was so great that many had to be turned away due to time constraints. Considering the appointment-holders and appointment-seekers, along with those who accompanied them, we were able to host nearly 800 people, introduce them to our church, as well as have many gospel conversations. -Pastor Manny Mendoza
