Back to School Drive-Thru

On Thursday, August 12 from 9:00-11:00am, Morningside will be the host site for a Back to School Drive-Thru event organized by First Choice by Select Health. Last year this organization gave away car seats for parents of infants and toddlers. This year their focus will be on school age children from K4-12th. First Choice will be preparing 300-500 backpacks to give away! Other vendors will be present.

As a church, our goal is to give away 300-500 school boxes! The boxes, filled with school supplies, tract, and AWANA card, will serve as an outreach to our community. You can help accomplish this goal and reach out to our community in three ways:

1. Donate school supplies at the Welcome Center. (Pencils, pencil top erasers, crayons, colored pencils, glue sticks, scissors)

2. Help assemble school boxes at our Back to School Ladies ministry event on August 7th at 5pm.

3. Serve as a host at the Back to School Drive-Thru event.
