Morningside Care Project

Morningside is blessed to have a multi-generational and multi-cultural church. In recent weeks our Morningside Seniors Director, Dr. Steve Buckley, helped coordinate a care ministry to an important group of people at Morningside.

Here is an overview of the groups to whom we ministered:

36 – Widows (9 are also shut-ins)

6 – Widowers

33 – Shut-ins

In each of the greeting cards a special note accompanied a $10 Chick-fil-A gift card.  

Our Daily Bread booklets were inserted into 30 cards sent to shut-ins (9 of whom were widows).

We appreciate the following individuals who contributed time to accomplish the project:

· Steve Buckley, Morningside Seniors Director, helped coordinate.

· Dottie Buckley and Katie Bate helped address the envelopes and make special comments on each card.

· Lara Cropsey helped polish the gift card notes.

· Jennifer Michaels helped make copies of the gift card notes.
