On Wednesday, July 8 @ 7 PM we enjoyed an Ice Cream Social with Hope Baptist Church!

After Pastor Mendoza of Iglesia Bautista Nuevo Amanecer led in prayer, Pastor Ben Gordon brought us a powerful challenge from Isaiah 40 about God’s greatness. Our choir sang for the first time in several months, and we enjoyed plenty of pre-packaged ice cream products and bottled water. And any bottles of Dad’s Root Beer left over from Father’s Day might be gone now.

Members of multiple generations, ethnic backgrounds, church families, and even languages all got to enjoy the time together. It was a multicultural, multigenerational time.

We’ve heard from several of you what a blessing it was. As we posted earlier, we took several precautions to minimize our health risk as the global COVID-19 pandemic continues. But to fellowship with other believers—so sweet!
