Medical Appreciation Gift Bags
We have a wonderful network of medical caregivers in Greenville! This past week, Morningside had the opportunity to show our appreciation to some of those medical caregivers in our community. We assembled 72 bags filled with several items: water bottle, masks, mints, granola bar, candy, some of our church literature, and a $5 Chick-fil-A gift card. Beth Smith, who works for Prisma Healthcare, was able to deliver gift bags to her fellow coworkers. Cindy Steeves, who works for Palmetto Pulmonary Doctors which services St Francis, delivered her supply of medical appreciation bags on Monday. We appreciate the care and compassion of numerous Morningside medical caregivers and those in our community. This is one way Morningside has been able to show the love of Christ.
Beth Smith was able to distribute additional bags to some very grateful frontline team members this week. She shared the bags with two nursing units who primarily care for coronavirus patients, microbiology lab where the COVID tests are run (a very busy team right now), and to some other key support team members. One person texted Beth “There’s GOLD in this little bag!!! Mask?! Ice breakers?! Chic-fil-A?!” Please pray these bags will create future gospel conversations.
