Donate Soup & Fellowship in January

Soup Sandwiches January .jpg

January is National Soup Month, which gives Morningsiders the opportunity to do two things, donate soup and fellowship together. Our ministry partner, Miracle Hill’s Greenville Rescue Mission, serves soup to about 140 men a day with an additional 100 more men being served in these colder months. In January, we will be collecting canned soup at the Welcome Center for the kitchen at the Greenville Rescue Mission. On Sunday night, Jan 12, after the p.m. service, join us for a church-wide fellowship in the south wing. Bring a plate of sandwiches to share for supper and additional cans of soup to donate. Soup donations and plates of sandwiches can be dropped off before the service in the south wing hallway. Morningside will provide the chips and drinks. Come and enjoy some warm fellowship while being a blessing to others in our community!
