Matt joined our pastoral team in July 2026 as our student pastor.

He grew up as a missionary kid in Yap, Micronesia. Living in a missionary home, Matt was exposed to the gospel and accepted Christ as his Savior at a young age. While living in Yap, Matt was able to be involved with the church ministry and served in the youth program. Even though he was in high school, God began to use him to help and serve others.

Pastor Matt has 12 years of pastoral experience. During his ministry he’s also served in Christian education and has been active volunteering and teaching in local public schools. Many students have made professions of faith and become active Christ followers because of his discipleship ministry.

Pastor Matt likes the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and enjoying opportunities to serve. He and his wife Krisa have 2 children.
