Katie grew up in a Christian home and accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on education. Katie worked for the local government for 15 years before working at a CPA firm. She joined our office staff in February of 2025.

Katie and her husband Ben have attended Morningside for more than a decade. Ben serves as a deacon and they both serve in our Rooted college class as small group leaders. Katie also enjoys playing in our church orchestra. 

They both enjoy their hobby farm, where they raise chickens, ducks, geese, and honeybees.
