Civil Leaders Sunday
We hope you can join us for Civil Leaders Sunday, October 4 at 10:00 a.m.
Dr. Steve Pettit of Palmetto Family Council will be our guest speaker.
We recognize and pray for those who currently serve in government as well as those preparing to assume positions of public leadership.
Regardless of political affiliation, we believe the Bible calls Christians to honor those in authority and faithfully pray for all who bear the responsibility of governing.
During the service we will acknowledge, honor, and introduce leaders and candidates for local, state, and national civil offices.
Special confirmed guests include Ellen Weaver (SC Secretary of Education) and Mike Reichenbach (Senator for SC District 31 - Florence County).
Our own members Alan Morgan (Representative for SC District 18 - Greenville County) and Tim Nanney (Register of Deeds for Greenville County) will also attend.
At Civil Leaders Sunday in 2020, we honored Dr. Bob Taylor for his lifetime of public service.
Public service carries tremendous responsibility. It is our privilege to pray that God will grant our leaders wisdom, courage, discernment, and strength as they fulfill their duties. We look forward to seeing you for this important service.
