Bowers to New Field
Missionaries that have ministered in Haiti for decades all agree – the current situation in Haiti is the worst they have seen. Over 90 gangs have been empowered by power-mongers whose greed and wicked pursuit reign supreme. Violence and kidnappings have become everyday occurrences. A gallon of gas on the black-market costs $30 causing Haiti’s infrastructure (schools, hospitals, stores, etc.) to become paralyzed. Haiti’s greatest need is prayer!
Tim and RoseAnne Bower have been our missionaries to Haiti for many years. As conditions in Haiti continue to get worse, the Bowers are making plans to go to a different mission field this year.

Reaching the Youth in Africa
No Safe Zones
African youth, especially girls, face multiple threats on a regular basis, often from those closest to them. Their environment, society and their families offer little to no protection. In many cases their only help and hope are missionaries and churches who demonstrate Christ’s love and proclaim the Gospel. ODBM missionaries, Seth & Amy Meyers, share a glimpse of the challenges facing young people in Africa.

Myanmar Book Project Update
On the Move
Due to the ongoing military coup in Myanmar, we are unable to ship the container full of books. God has graciously provided a new storage facility that is much better conditioned for long term storage. On Thursday, May 6th, the books were moved to the new facility and will be stored safely until the Lord opens the door to ship the books to Myanmar.
