Meet Ben & Katie Plumb

Our newest missionaries have been here over a decade already.

But this August Ben and Katie Plumb aren’t just members; they’re our representatives in Uganda serving with Love Africa.

Our members decided on July 15 to start supporting their ministry, and we’re excited to see what the Lord will do.

Ben and Katie came to Morningside in 2015. They’ve been serving together in our college ministry since before it was even called Rooted. Ben is serving his second term as one of our deacons, and Katie started working full-time in our church office last year.

They shared their ministry with us on June 7: watch their presentation here.

Ben’s first trip to Africa was last fall, and his role is Director of Fundraising and Development for Love Africa.

Ben and Katie and our own member Dan Wilkin are in Uganda this August helping a Love Africa team.
