2026 Missions Conference
Each year we hold a missions conference to help us fulfill our mission of loving our world. Our 2025 missions conference takes place on February 11-22. Our theme is Missions Begins at Home.

Pastor Steven Huffman
Before the conference officially begins, join us for a pre-conference kickoff on the evening of February 1 from Pastor Steven Huffman.
Pastor Huffman has been on our pastoral team for over 30 years. He’s continuing his ministry as outreach pastor, and he is now also serving as missions pastor and interim director of Open Door Baptist Missions.
Tim Brown, Miracle Hill Ministries
Then our conference begins Wednesday, Feb. 11 (7 PM) with a missions challenge in prayer meeting from our local gospel partner Miracle Hill Ministries.
Tim Brown is the Vice President for Adult Ministries, and he will present the ministry of Greenville Rescue Mission.
Sunday, February 15
Missions displays will be in the lobby all week. Missionaries and guests speakers are also speaking in several Sunday school classes and small groups on Feb. 15 and 22. Check with your teacher or the Welcome Center if you’d like to hear from a certain missionary.
Jon & Andrea Crocker
10 AM: We will hear a missions sermon from Dr. Jon Crocker. Dr. Crocker preached at our church retreat in 2022, the same year he began his ministry as director of Gospel Fellowship Association.
9:00 AM & 11:15 AM: Several classes and small groups will have missionary speakers. Check with your teacher or the Welcome Center.
Pastor Jeff & Debbie Surrett
5 PM: Our new Spanish pastor Jeff Surrett will preach for us. Pastor Surrett joined our pastoral team in December, and our gathering will include a brief installation service for him.
Our conference continues Wednesday, Feb. 18 (7 PM) with a challenge from Brad Harris. Brad was one of our members for several years and is now a field representative for The Wilds Christian Association.
Pastor Josh Crockett
Sunday, February 22
10 AM: Pastor Crockett will preach for us on the role of the church and ODBM in missions.
9:00 AM & 11:15 AM: Several classes and small groups will have missionary speakers again. Check with your teacher or the Welcome Center.
Pastor Kevin Chen
5 PM: Our Chinese pastor Kevin Chen will close the conference. Our life groups will combine on campus for our evening gathering.
