Happy Mother’s Day! We are thankful for our mothers as well as the women who take time to invest in our church family. We have chocolate and flowers for all women and girls as you exit Morningside today.
I will address our auditorium attendees this morning. I am humbled to serve as the next president of Bob Jones University, but I am sad that Morningside will have to begin a pastoral transition. My family loves Morningside! We plan to remain active serving members here. I look forward to seeing God’s continued blessings on Morningside as we each fulfill our mission: Loving God. Loving Each Other. Loving Our World.

Memorial Day Fellowship: Loving Each Other
In a couple of weeks, our nation observes Memorial Day. On May 26, we’ll have a churchwide cookout (suggested donation $5/person, $10/family). Learn more at morningside.org/news.
Starting Point: Loving Our World
One of the ways we love our world is by helping our members travel to the mission field. Join Pastor Crockett next week for our Starting Point membership interest class (11:15 AM, War Room). Get our membership process at morningside.org/membership.
Night of Worship & Appreciation Reception
Join us May 19 for Night of Worship (5 PM, AUD). Afterwards we hold a cake reception for Pastor Crockett and his family. Designate “Crockett Love Offering” at the offering boxes or morningside.org/give to participate in our love offering.

Jungle Journey VBS is June 2-5 (Grades 1-8). Preparation is in full sail!

Mark your calendars and clear your schedules! Our weekend of Morningside Family Camp is Nov. 8-9 (The Wilds, Rosman, NC).
Bridal Shower
June 8 we hold a bridal shower for Jyun Yuan Klein (drop in 10 AM-12 PM, Teen Room). She is marrying Daniel Steeves, and they are registered at Amazon.
