RSVP CardsBy Monday September 8, please return a completed RSVP card to let us know what services (including the noon meal) your family plans to attend on Sunday, October 12. 50th Anniversary Memory Book: 56-60 page, full-color memory book with text and a pictorial history of Morningside. This is a good keepsake! 50th Anniversary DVD Video: Approximately 10-minute historical video that will be shown on Homecoming Sunday. In addition, it will include hundreds of extra pictures not included in the Memory Book. Note: It is NOT a video of the Homecoming Day services, but these DVDs will be nicely packaged and complement the 50th Anniversary Memory Book. 50th Anniversary Cookbook: A collection of 442 recipes from Morningsiders and at least 40 of our missionaries. It will make a nice gift! GivingPreviously we encouraged people to give gifts during our Jubilee year to go to our building fund to be applied to debt retirement. Please consider giving in amounts such as $5 (good child's level); $50; $500; $5,000; or even $50,000 as we celebrate 50 years of ministry at Morningside. InvitationsIf you would like invite former Morningsiders, at the Welcome Center pick up an invitation letter by Pastor Miller and mail it or hand it to your friends. Please note that Morningside is already inviting some of the former staff and deacons. If you have a question about who needs to be invited, please contact ljackson@morningside.org. Extended Ministry VolunteersIf you have served at Morningside in a lay capacity for 20 years or longer, please fill out an Extended Volunteer Ministry form at the Welcome Center and drop it into the collection box by Sunday, September 7. |
